Youth Worker Fund
We have now got the funding for the permanent full time youth worker for one year, and would like to thank all of those who've contributed to this.
Providing a trained Youth Worker to head the Cafe is one of our main priorities. From experience we know that the best chance of success comes from a mix of volunteers and professional staff. Ultimately, some of our young people may need help beyond the scope of a volunteer, so having a professional involved will enable us to provide the support that they need, in an accessible place, right here in our village. The Youth Worker would be able to bring all other youth services and benefits into the Cafe and therefore into the village as whole.
Several people giving to this fund monthly by direct debit - if you feel able to help in this way, or if you have any ideas or are prepared to do some fundraising for this we would love to hear from you.
